EDI SYSTEM/ 電透析純水離子交換系統
Introduction of EDI

EDI, or Electrodeionization, uses an electric field to remove cations and anions and some polar species from reverse osmosis (RO) deionized water to get ultrapure water. EDI is used with RO system to replace ion-exchange resin mixed beds, which require NaOH /HCl chemical regeneration either on-site or off-site.

EDI is used with RO system to replace ion-exchange resin mixed beds, which require NaOH /HCl chemical regeneration either on-site or off-site.

The basic environmental and economic benefit of EDI is the elimination of the use of resin regeneration chemicals. And its ultrapure water quality benefit of EDI is the

continuous stable process to maintain the very few fluctuation of the high ohms which the only mixed beds can not attain.

Benefits of EDI systems

  • EDI Produces Ultrapure Water up to 17 Megohms
  • No Regeneration Chemicals Required
  • Single Unit Capacities up to 2.8 m3/hr
  • Multiple Unit Arrays up to 1,000 GPM (200 m3/hr)
  • Compact, Lightweight, Design
  • Stable continuous ultrapure water production
